I recently got back from a trip to Hawaii and it never fails that the minute I board the plane to come back home, I feel hoka (pronounced: hoh-kah) or disappointed. With every trip, it gets harder and harder to come home.
Well, the only feeling I have these days is “hoka” (pronounced hoh-kah) or disappointment. You see, I was meant to be on the Big Island now. But my husband got sick, and then I got sick and then one of our kids got sick. So, we had to cancel our trip. The trip was going to be a getaway for just my husband and me and we were really looking forward to some adult time together.
