Hawaiian Phrase of the Week: Hau'oli Makahiki hou
/This time of year is always so interesting…just as we almost recover from the Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa celebrations, we do it all over again as we ready to flip the calendar to the new year.
This is also a time where I spend a lot of time reflecting on the past year and my hopes for what will come in the new year. 2022 was a hard year and I’m looking forward to putting behind me the year that made me stronger. January 1 is a blank slate and I’m very much looking forward to changing the narrative in 2023.
