Hawaiian Organizations We Support

Even though we are small, we believe that social good needs to be a part of our mission. It is often difficult as a commercial enterprise to reconcile our purpose and beliefs. We believe that we need to protect the land, but we also ship cardboard boxes. This guides us to look for suppliers that have sustainability efforts and use recycled materials.

We are making every effort to source products from smaller businesses, either based in Hawaii or rooted in Hawaii on the mainland. We understand that the economics are challenging for those who call Hawaii home.

This is why each box we choose a Hawaiian organization to receive a portion of the box proceeds.

Our current box is supporting HUGS Hawaii. As mothers, our hearts go out to families that are facing the crisis of a seriously ill child. The mission of HUGS is to strengthen Hawaii’s families and improve their quality of life as they face the emotional and financial hardships of caring for a seriously ill child.

Our first box supported the Botanical Garden Restoration at Anainahou Community Park. Anaina Hou was founded to provide a gathering place to enrich the lives of our island community through art, education, recreation, and agricultural programs and activities while sharing our cultural values and the spirit of aloha.

Today, they are proud to feature Kauai Mini Golf and Botanical Gardens, a fantastic Café and Gift Store, access to hiking and mountain biking the Wai Koa Loop Trail, two weekly Farmers Markets featuring locally-grown food and crafts, and a Playground and Skate Park for keiki, and more.
