Hawaiian Word of the Week: Ha'aha'a
Being a mompreneur has been a lesson in humility. The days are long, starting well before the kids wake up (those uninterrupted hours are our most productive) and wrapping late into the night after the kids are in bed. We weren’t (and still aren’t) experts at entrepreneurship. What we’ve learned, we’ve learned along the way. Sometimes the hard way. We could choose to be embarrassed about some of these decisions or we could see them for what they can teach us. Which brings us to this week’s Hawaiian word of ha'aha'a [hah ah-hah ah], which means “to be humble” or “humility.” This value is about acknowledging your missteps and the understanding that you gain through the experience.
