Hawaiian Word of the Week: Ha
Real talk. As the mom of a 4-year-old, just about the only place in my house that I can escape to for some quiet time is my bathroom. Sometimes “Mommy has to go potty” just to catch a minute alone.
With all the demands on our time and roles we juggle, who doesn’t need an uninterrupted minute of quiet to catch their breath or “ha” [hah] in Hawaiian?
Where do you go to escape when you need a moment to yourself or a space to unwind at the end of the day? How do you establish boundaries with others so that you preserve some time for yourself?
