Hawaiian Phrase of the Week: Hau'oli La Pakoa
Spring is finally starting to emerge here in California after months of unexpected (but profoundly grateful for) rains. Flowers and plants are starting to wake up, birds are starting to sing and build their nests in the trees. And with spring comes the spiritual feeling of Easter and Passover. So we didn’t want to miss the chance to wish you all a Hau’oli Lā Pakoa!
Hawaii is a very spiritual place. I think that is one of the reason why I feel so grounded when I am on the islands. It isn’t necessarily about religion…but the beauty of the land, the aloha spirit of the Hawaiian people and the slow(er) pace of life than I’m used to. It brings this feeling of being grounded in where I am, who I am and where I want to go.
What is it about Hawaii that feels spiritual to you?
We wish you a lovely Hau’oli Lā Pakoa with family and friends.
