Hawaiian Word of the Week: `Onipa`a
`Onipa`a [oh-knee-pah-ah]. To stand firm. The word `onipa`a can be split between the words "'oni" which means to shift and "pa'a" which means to set solid. Combined, it means steadfast and was the motto of Queen Lili'u'okalani, Hawaii’s first queen regnant and last monarch.
